Fun, fitness and canine buddies!
Small play groups + Daily park outing + All day care = HAPPY DOGS!
Perfect for friendly dogs that need doggy socialisation, exercise while you're at work, or just some human company to prevent separation anxiety or boredom behaviour problems. It's peace of mind with constant on-site supervision with a qualified pet professional so you can be sure that your dog will have a great day out whilst you enjoy yours. We have lots of experience in starting off puppies from 4 months of age in dog socialisation and training for off leash play with a reliable recall.
How do we know dogs are happy with Pet Buddy?
They pull their owners to the door every time they come to visit and owners frequently report that they have a tired contented dog when they get home (that's if they don't fall asleep first on the drive home!).
How does it work?
Simply drop your dog off during our morning hours , they will enjoy our full program of fun, and pick up a tired happy dog during the afternoon! You may choose to book your dog in whenever you have a busy day scheduled or ongoing bookings may be made for one or more days per week.

Why dog day care?
We all know that dogs are social animals, and most of them lap up every opportunity to be with us or their canine buddies. Leaving them alone all day whilst we go about our business can be distressing or boring for many dogs and result in behaviour problems. Doggy day care provides a valuable preventative strategy to meet our dogs needs for daily stimulation, socialisation and exercise, keeping our dogs as the happy and well behaved family members we love!
Benefits of Dog Day Care
Our clients report that after weekly attendance their dogs are:
More relaxed and confident when meeting new people and dogs
Sleep very soundly after their day with Pet Buddy
Improved dog social skills
Overall improvement in behaviour
Are quieter at home, a decrease in neighbour complaints
Are very excited when going to Day Care!
How to enrol your dog...
Vaccination: Required for dogs attending Pet Buddy services and 'meet and greet' visits.
A current* C5 vaccine; which is DHP - (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo virus) + KC or BB - (Bordetella bronchiseptica or Parainfuenza or Kennel Cough).
DHP requires either an annual or triennial booster, KC or BB an annual booster. Please check with your vet if you're unsure if your dog has a current C5.
*Please note a current vaccination is one that has either had 14 days or more elapsed since it was received, or a booster that was received no more than 14 days after the due date. Dogs under 12 months of age require two sets of vaccinations usually completed by 10 - 12 weeks before they are current.
Age: Dogs must be over 4 months old.
Sex: As dogs are kept in a mixed social situation, we are only able to enroll dogs that are de-sexed if over the age of 6 months. Unde-sexed puppies under 6 months old are accepted.
Size: We provide a service for dogs under 35kg only, unfortunately our facilities are not designed for the extra large or heavy built breeds.
Health: Animals must not be showing any signs of illness or contagious aliments and be on a regular parasite (worm, heart-worm & flea) control program for admission.
STEP 1 : Check your dog meets our enrolment requirements
STEP 2 : Attend a meet a greet with your dog
Bring your pooch for a tour and a mini play date with some of our guests!
Meet and greets are part of our dog enrollment process and are required prior to booking. All dogs reside in the company of other dogs and people. To ensure a happy and safe environment for all our guests dogs must meet some basic behaviour targets. Your dog doesn't have to be an obedience star, or even know how to sit on command! They just need to be relaxed (probably initially a bit excited about meeting new play mates!) and show good basic social skills to pass our assessment. In fact, the majority of dogs we meet pass with flying colours!
A current vaccination certificate is required to be shown on arrival.
Meet and greets run for approximately 30 mins. Please note that children under 12 years old will not be permitted to attend the meet and greet.
You can book between:
Mon - Fri 9.00 - 10.30am or 3.00 - 4.30pm
Some Saturdays are available 9.00, 9.30am or 4.00, 4.30pm
